Twinkle Toes!

My sweet and thoughtful friends, Sarah, Amanda, Julie and Janet, along with my sister, Wendi, gave Anna a wonderful birthday gift. Sarah had heard me mention this dance camp I was interested in signing Anna up for. They all pitched in and gave her $ for the dance camp for her birthday back in February. The camp was finally here and she loved it! Not only was it dance camp, but Disney Princess Dance Camp! What could be better?! On the last day, they invited the parents to come watch a little "recital." They could bring a princess dress to wear over their leotard for the performance.
They learned a jazz, tap and ballet dance.

 shuffle step, shuffle step

 Anna's cheering crew!
 Plus Honey came!!
It was a fun week of princess dances, crafts, snacks and games!! Thanks to our great friends for a great gift!!

Summer Happenings...

My dear friend, Jayme, came in town and got to meet little B for the first time. I miss this sweet friend and wish she lived closer!! She has a gift with little ones and my kids love "Miss Jayme!" Amanda, Jayme and I went to lunch afterwards and got to catch up. Such a fun few hours!

Our sweet, great Aunt Rosie has been doing great and rehabbing after two major back surgeries. We've made some trips out to Denton to visit her.

Little B turned 2 months old!
Mom and Dad had us and the Ross's and Johnsons over for some back yard play and burgers.
 Couldn't you eat Cooper up?!!

Honey and Anna played the piano for the crowd.
All in their jammies before heading home.
We love summer!!

Workin' Out!

The kids have spent lots of time this summer up at Daddy's school "working out" while Daddy does a real work out. Boone and I went along for a little workout of our own last week. A&G always take their soccer balls to work on their skills. :) This is their "cheeeeese" face.

just a few more reps, G!
 get it girl!

their favorite part has to be the tractor ride at the end of a great work out.

A great perk to your daddy being a coach!

A blessed 6 years!

Dave and I got the chance to go to dinner to celebrate our anniversary. What a blessed 6 years it has been!

This was our first date since Boone was born.
We enjoyed a wonderful dinner at Reata in Fort Worth. Thanks Honey and Papa for watching the peeps!

This would be chocolate bread pudding cooked in a corn husk. wowzers!

A Happy 4th!!

The 4th was coming and we had been talking to some friends about celebrating together. With lots of little ones and the warm temps we opted out of the several outdoor community festivals around us. The day before, I approached my parents about allowing us to invade their house and backyard and was given an "Absolutely!!" Not only did Honey and Papa provide the fun, but helped put together a great little 4th celebration! Everyone brought food to share, Papa grilled, and we spent all afternoon and evening watching the kids go crazy in the H&P's Paradise!

The slide was a hit!

Honey had fun 4th pops!

Amanda made this cute flag cake.
Honey made the cute fruit kabobs, hard to see the blueberries at the top.
tearin' up the playroom:)

G and Sean, good buddies!
These two hadn't seen each other since school and were very excited to play together!

awkward family pics. nice patriotic tcu shirt, daddy:)

I was determined to keep the kids up for fireworks! They have never seen them and I knew they would love it! Sweet Honey stayed home with Boone, while Papa, Dave and I took A&G. They didn't start till 10pm!

The kids played musical chairs during the show but most of the time in Papa's lap.
Her face during the finale!
Heading back to H&P's, she just couldn't last any longer.

It was a great 4th! We love the USA!
