A few fun playdates...

This week we had a couple of playdates with some great friends. First, we went to play with Charlie, Scarlett and Jack at my friend, Cabell's house. Scarlett and Jack, the twins, are exactly Anna's age and Charlie is not too far behind. They all loved Charlie's great toys. Here are a couple of pics...
Then on Friday we got together with some long time friends. Wendi and I grew up with the Edwards kids in church and our parents have been friends for several years. Kelly recently had baby Colin and we wanted to get together. Of course, the grandmothers wanted to come too!

Fredericksburg...

Dave, Anna and I spent the weekend in Fredericksburg at Mimi and PawPaw's Bed&Breakfast. It is a beautiful place, so if you are planning a trip to Fburg, look them up. It is called Abend Haus. Anna has traveled a lot during her first year, but this was the first time for it to be just the three of us. It was a good weekend except that Anna was a little under the weather and Dave was A LOT under the weather. Here are the pics I got. (mostly from the house, since we didn't get out much:)

Frat Curl...

Frat Curl! That is what Dave calls Anna's hair. As most of you remember, the famous "Frat Curl" from college that 95% of the guys had. Their hair was just long enough to curl up beneath their hat. We thought her hair was growing into more like a mullet, but Dave insists that Anna has herself a "Frat Curl."

We've got a walker on a walker!

Anna is on the move! She has taken to the walker! I caught her on video the other day when Honey was over playing with us. You can hear us in the background. Funny! The only problem is she runs into everything. I guess, with time, she will figure out how to turn it around.

The Amazing ICE!

The day after Christmas, Honey and Papa took all of us to the Gaylord Texan ICE show. It was incredible! Everything in the exhibit was completely made of ice. Even the stairs we walked on were ice covered with carpet. Inside, it was 9 degrees, so very chilly! They gave you parkas to wear which really helped! Anna started in the stroller, but we quickly realized the Baby Bjorn would work better. Her little head just poked out of Dave's parka. It was hillarious, but she seemed to really enjoy it! Everyone needs to see it sometime! Thank you so much Honey and Papa for a fun afternoon!
