Halloween Party...

We had a Halloween party/playdate to go to on Halloween morning. Anna's friends, Luke Lary and Hudson Ramsey, were throwing the party, so Wendi and I took the little ones. It was a beautiful morning, but not chilly enough for me. Wish we had some cooler weather by now!! Luke and Hudson's grandmommy, Pammy, was there to take her amazing, professional pictures, so when I get those I will post some.

Wendi and I attempted to get the three kids pic in this thing. Ha! Good try!

Not sure why Anna Lou stuck her arm out, but she was enjoying it!

Another attempt.

Halloween at Memaw's...

Anna Lou and I stopped by Memaw's house for a little bit so Memaw could see her Halloween costume. Anna has two costumes, the flower and the pumpkin. The flower was an idea I got from a friend of my mom's and the pumpkin is a hand-me-down from my sister. The pumpkin costume is a little more mobile since it doesn't include props like the flower pot, so she wore the pumpkin to travel over to Memaw's house.

Halloween Playdate...

Monday we had a few friends over for lunch and a Halloween playdate. It was pretty cute seeing all of the litte ones in their costumes. Of course it was tricky getting a good picture when all of them were happy, but we tried!

Ross/ Watkins Get Together...

Sunday night we went to dinner at the Ross' house. The Watkins Family has been very close friends for several years with the Ross Family. It is amazing to see how our families have grown, yet we remain such great friends with them all! Here are the girls and the little ones. Brooks was very sick and later we found our had a double ear infection at the time. Poor little guy!

Amanda's Shower...

Saturday we had a wedding shower for my friend, Amanda, in Austin. It was great to see her and meet some of her Austin friends. She is marrying Doug Brown on December 20th!! Here are a few pics from the shower. So funny that the Mother of the Bride and the Mother of the Groom had on the same skirt!

Last Monday was my birthday. Dave gave Wendi and me tickets to the Natalie Grant concert on Sunday night. I have always been a big fan of Natalie Grant, and we had an awesome time at the concert. She is an unbelievable performer and was amazing to hear in person. It was more like a worship service than a concert. Awesome! Way to go Dave on the b-day gift!!

First a few from the park...

Good Ol' Nat rockin' out!

Honey, Wendi and the boys came over to celebrate more on Monday. Brooks gave me the Diego balloon I am holding.

Arkansas Cousins...

My Aunt Terry, my cousin Sharon and Sharon's two girls, Lindsey and Courtney came for a few days from Arkansas to visit us all at my mom and dad's house. We only get to see them a few times a year and it was so much fun. They wanted to be sure and see Wendi and her boys before the big move. We love them so much and wish we all lived closer together! Anna was sick most of the time they were here, so we had to miss out on some of the fun.

On the move...

Anna has been belly crawling for a while and occasionally will take a few real steps up on her hands and knees. I caught her in action now that she has got this crawling thing down.

Oskie has always loved Anna and never has acted any different from before when we didn't have her. Here is clip from this morning when he wanted to get some "sugar" from her. She didn't mind too much. Sorry for all of the videos! This is for all of our relatives that don't get to see her much.

Dave's birthday is today, October 16th, but we celebrated last night since Dave could get home from school a little earlier last night. I kept Anna up so Dave could give her a bath and get her ready for bed. Definitely one of his favorite things to do with Anna Lou! I cooked one of his favorite dinners and favorite desserts and he opened his presents from Anna and I. Woohoo! Exciting birthday!! That's how it goes with a birthday during football season. But, probably exactly the way Dave would want it.

hmmm...I think there is some resemblance!

Pumpkin Patch...

Today we went to the Pumpkin Patch with "Honey's" (my mom) preschool. They were taking a field trip to "The Big Orange Pumkin Farm" and we got to tag along. My sister, Wendi, and her two boys, Brooks and Barrett, Anna and I loved going on a hayride, feeding the animals, picking out a pumpkin from the patch and having a picnic. It was great to have real fall weather for our day at the farm.

Anna talking about her favorite person...

Anna was having a great time in the tub last night! I am sure she knows exactly what she is talking about. She loves her daddy! Be sure to push stop on the blog music, so you can hear her voice.

It's funny what makes them laugh...

Last week one day we went to visit our friends Kelley and Andrew Conrad at their house. Andrew is such a cutie and already 4 months old!

Holding tight to Andrew!

Anna has started this funny thing where she smiles so big she squints her eyes and shows us her two teeth.

Cousins at the farm...

Friday we went over to Mema's house to see Dave's brother's family that was in town. Anna and I had a great time at the farm with Mema, Papa, Mike, Kim and Anna's three cousins.

Every year on Texas/OU weekend, Dave's family comes in town for the game. Since it is football season, Dave is always working on the weekends, so we don't ever get to go with them. But, after the game, it is a long time tradition to meet at Mariano's Restaurant.
