December...

whew! just can't seem to stay caught up with the blog! December is always crazy but such a fun time of year! Anna Lou did a little cheer performance on "club night" at her school.
We dropped off our Operation Christmas Child boxes at church.
Got the Christmas decor out and tried to find a new place for everything for our first Christmas in Dallas.
We've hung these stockings on three different mantles in three years. Here's to hoping the stay put for a while!!!
Wendi, Jenise and I have been training for a half marathon. Part of our training was a 15K in Houston. Dave and I made it a little weekend getaway and left the kids with Honey and Papa. We all train on our own, but keep up with each others runs on the Nike App. It was so fun to finally run together! Some other friends joined us in Houston.

Extremely proud of my sis training for her first real race!
 Sic Em Santa.

After the race in Houston, we hit the road to Waco for the Baylor vs. Kansas State game. My Horned Frog husband was rather impressed with McLane Stadium and was SUCH a great sport with his BU hat!

Up close and personal with the Walk of the Bears! Some of our favorites...Hagar, Coach Briles and Petty!

 Tailgating fun!

So the Bears won that day and Frogs won that day, which the Big 12 called Co-Champs. We all know who the real champions are;)!
 Gingerbread house making/eating.
Honey and Papa took us to the Gift of Christmas at Prestonwood which was amazing!
I helped at AL's school for some activities about snow. We made snowman snacks, snow play dough and read "Snowman At Christmas."
We waited in line with the other crazies at North Park to see Santa.
 Back of the camera pic.
Graham was the Little Drummer Boy in the preschool nativity. He nailed it!

We finished AL's fall soccer season with a Christmas bowling party.
School was out and we headed to Houston to see our Houston fam.
 Seven Hall babies,
 MiMi and PawPaw's 14 grandchildren.
Sunday morning heading to church and we didn't know AL was coming down with the flu. yikes!
AL bounced back from the flu pretty quick. Daddy took these monkeys to the movie so I could pack for our trip and wrap Christmas presents.
 Visiting Mema on Christmas Eve.

Santa brought plenty of goodies and we had a wonderful Christmas morning together.
