Amazing Bluebonnet Pics!

Ha!! Not really amazing!! And very random! We were headed to a park after school with some friends and we saw a small patch of bluebonnets. Anna knows all about the state flower from preschool and wanted to get a closer look. The kids both had school shirt day so we had great outfits. ha! And these were all taken with my phone. We didn't last too long because of tons of bees!

This is what G does when you say smile. bless him!

Easter Playdate...

My friend, Brooke, had some friends over for an Easter playdate. The kids dyed eggs, had an egg hunt, fed the ducks at the park and had a picnic lunch. They loved every minute of it!

G and the ladies.
Graham was saying over and over and over. "Here ducky, ducky, ducky!"
We had enough bread to feed a large flock, but only two came over for the feast.
Such a fun morning with good friends! Thank you Brooke!!

Diapers, Wipes, Surprise!

I have the most wonderful, thoughtful bible study group. Last week I showed up to bible study and was surprised with an awesome diapers and wipes shower. What better gift for our #3?!

I am so thankful for these women and we were so blessed by this fun surprise!

Cowgirl Up!

Anna wore all of her cowgirl gear to school on Tuesday. The kids have been singing songs, studying and doing lots of activities on Texas, rodeos and all things western for the past month or so. The older classes got to take part in the big rodeo and sing all of their songs for the parents, so we can't wait to do that next year!
One of the special things about Anna is her relationship with her Daddy! By the time he got home from work, she just had on her skirt and shirt and the rest of the cowgirl gear had been shed. When she heard him coming in, she ran to her room and called me in their to help her get everything back on. She was so proud to show Daddy her outfit. Of course, this Daddy loved his doll baby in boots!! This girl loves affirmation from her main man!

Spring Breakin'!

This spring break was low key, relaxing, productive and perfect! It was wonderful having Daddy home all week and spending time with him. We were not on a schedule, but a had few things planned for the week. Poor Anna Lou had her 4 year check up that ended with 4 lovely shots. Thank goodness a chocolate shake makes everything better!
We visited Mema at the farm one morning and drove the truck around the pasture to get a closer look at the livestock.
This is what Graham thought about the horses coming up close:(.

The weather was like this most of the week. Cloudy, breezy and a scare of rain, but never really did. I think the cows and horses thought we were coming to feed them.
The big plan for the week was creating Anna and Graham's room from Anna's old room. Graham had big changes ahead with moving into a new room, sharing with his sister and going to a big bed instead of a crib. These pics are from the first night.
As of now, it is safe to say, this has been a great transition. The kids have slept great and LOVE their new bunk beds!! We changed the entire room, but have a few more things to touch up.

Daddy did fun things like take care of our 2011 taxes, lots of odd jobs around the house and change the oil, with his little helper.
We also celebrated Papa's birthday. We grilled out and made a special cake with lots of special sprinkles:) for Papa!

Fun times with our last spring break as a fam of 4!

Interrupted...

I had the pleasure of hearing Christian author, Jen Hatmaker speak a few months ago. I am so glad my sister encouraged me to go hear her and to also get one of her books. I just finished Interrupted and it was awesome! It brought a new light to Christian living and has impacted me greatly. Go get it!

Spring Has Sprung and Boone!

Spring has sprung around here! Although I am a little sad to see winter go without much of a winter, spring means lots of newness around here. Technically it is still winter for a few more weeks, but the warmer temps and sunny days have been a treat! One of my favorite things about our house is this tree in the front yard. It blooms pretty white flowers during the spring for only a short time, but I love it every year!

I am just hoping it doesn't warm up too quickly during these last 8 weeks of pregnancy. Exactly 8 weeks from today we will meet our BABY BOY! That is, if he doesn't decide to come any sooner! We have officially named him Boone Watkins Hall. We just liked the name Boone, and Watkins is my maiden name. All of our kids have family names for middle names. Boone seems to be a growing boy! He measures in the 85% in height and weight! Yikes! We are so excited for his arrival!
