Think BLUE!

We were so excited today to find out that we are having a BOY! We really can't believe it! I was pretty sure it was a girl! Not sure why I thought that, but had a real feeling Anna Lou would have a little sis. We would have loved either of course, but are thrilled to bring a little BLUE to this family! I am about 18 weeks prego right now, but "junior" was looking about 19 weeks along. My due date is October 26, but she said maybe a week earlier. Everything else looked great on the sonogram! We are so excited and thank the Lord for this baby boy blessing!

A Hall in the Hall of Honor!

Sunday night was a special night for the Hall Family! Mike, Dave's dad, was inducted into the Plano ISD Athletic Hall of Honor. If you know much about Plano, you know that athletics is a big deal! It means so much to us since Plano athletics has been such an important part of my family and of Dave's family. Mike achieved so much success in high school and college as an athlete and was chosen as one of four 2009 inductees. It was a special night for our family honoring Mike.

Pals and Posicles...

Last week one afternooon we went over to play with Anna Lou's friend's Jack and Mackenzie. These three really enjoyed their popsicles and playing in all of the water toys in the Olson's driveway!

AL and Jack enjoying the limes out of my drink.
AL going in for a kiss on Mack. Mack is not so sure!
Of course the girls were checking on Baby Jacob in his stroller. AL liked touching his piggies!

Quick Trip...

Last weekend we made a quick trip to Houston for our nephew, Carter's, baptism. Dave had spring football practice on Saturday so we left after that and got back Sunday night. It was a very quick trip, but a great one to see Mimi and PawPaw and all of the other Halls! God Bless Carter Michael Hall! We love you!

AL excited to see Carter when we got there. AL and Mimi playing a little pattycake before we left for church on Sunday morning.

All of the Hall girls and baby Carter.

My two favorite people!

Art with Anna Lou...

I am a little behind on this post. This happened about a week and half ago. Our friends, Summer, Blake and Sutton, got a great group of moms and kids together to do a little art at this kids art place in Frisco. Although Anna Lou was one of the youngest she still had a great time. The first time she picked up the paint covered brush, it went straight in her mouth. Thank goodness for child-proof paint! Here is the massive group... AL getting her apron on.
Doing a little handprinting.

She really enjoyed the play room a little more than the art project.
Art and music...she is so well-rounded:)

Pretty exhausted on our way home, but really enjoying her first ever dum-dum!

Park Playdate...

Some mom friends from church and Bible study got together yesterday at the park with our little ones! Our spring semester of Bible study is over and we already missed seeing eachother every week! Praise the Lord for a day without rain! It was a little warm, but well worth it! The kids (and moms) had a great time!
Here is most of the group. (Lindsay and Mackenzie had already left and Erin and Duke Trevor weren't there yet, sorry guys!)

Notice AL backing away a little. Her dad would be proud! AL and Duke Trevor's dads were buddies in high school and AL has strict instructions to stay away from Duke Trevor! Ha!

It was the day of Duke Trevor's birthday! Happy 1st Birthday! And Erin brought cupcakes to celebrate.
I think AL liked hers. Both after devouring the cupcakes.

Mom's Day!...

Our Mother's Day weekend was great! We spent some time at the Lake Highlands football field for the annual Red/White game, and then we headed to Mema's house for some time with Papa and Mema. I am so bummed I don't have any pictures of AL with Papa, Mema and with all of the horses. She LOVED them and kept calling them "Doga, Doga, Doga." That is what she calls dogs. Close, but we will give it to her! We enjoyed some great JC's burgers and then headed home.

Sunday the three of us headed to church and then picked up lunch on our way home. Sunday night we went over to Honey and Papa's for an awesome steak dinner! AL loved her dinner, even a few bites of steak! She especially loved playing with the bubbles outside. Several pics of chasing bubbles...

These pics look kind of funny, since the bubbles didn't show up in the pics.

Dave and Papa with ALUs with HoneyHoney's beautiful fruit pizza for dessert! AL loved this too, of course!
We had a wonderful weekend getting to spend time with eachother and 2 other incredible mom's in our life! We missed getting to see Mimi!! We are so blessed to have so many amazing mom's around us including our own moms, Dave's grandmother, my great Aunt Rosie, our aunts, my sister, my sister-in-law and numerous other mom friends!! We love all of these ladies dearly! Thank you most of all to Mimi and Honey, our two moms, for pouring and pouring into our lives! I feel like now you are being blessed like no other time in your life for the years of deep devotion to our upbringing! These two women are exellent at displaying a Godly picture of motherhood.
