One Big Watkins Family Pajama Party!

It was my parents turn to host the Watkins Family Christmas. We decided to change things up and have breakfast for dinner and a pajamas were required! The food was amazing complete with casseroles, sweets, Papa's brisket tacos and plenty of kid-friendly food.  I am sooo thankful that the Texas-living Watkins are able to get together every year! Although, we miss so many that live too far!!

Thanks goodness for good weather to keep the maniacs outside.

Thankful for the pediatricians in the fam to check out the ears at the Christmas party. We love Dr. Jimmy and Dr. Chafen!

 Watkins girls
That's a lot of Watkins kids, and we were even missing some!

The kids did a game or puzzle exchange and the adults did a gift card exchange.

Sure wish our Dottie and Papa could see their offspring.
We finished off with S'mores, which Anna doesn't ever miss out on.

Love all of these people and I am thankful that we all make this happen every single year!

Christmas morning...

Christmas morning it was the five of us and Honey and Papa. The Junods were joining us on the 26th.

Those reindeer must have been hungry! "It's gone!"
So many smiles from this guy checking it out.

Looked over to see this guy with something in his mouth.
How 'bout some of Santa's leftovers.

We had to try out the Easy Bake Oven right away!

Facetiming with the Junods in Houston.

Graham got so excited with each gift, especially this Dusty from his sister!

 Delicious treats from the cook.
This Flutterbye Fairy was so fun! Somehow it is still alive.
Their big gift from us was a basketball goal.
 Woohoo for B-ball!
Such a sweet time with our family!

Christmas Eve

We spent Christmas Eve with the Halls and Papa Mike in Plano.
We met at the farm and enjoyed some time outside.

Daddy and Anna on the 4-wheeler.
Buddies, Graham and Carter.

B couldn't get enough of the horses.
Hall cuzzies minus Boone.
Halls
Hall kids in front of Mema's house.
Plenty of room to run at Mema's.

We went out for Chinese! It was so fun and so yum!
This kid loves him some edamame

How 'bout a boat full of sushi.

Thatta girl.

Not sure why they enjoyed the green tea ice cream. Not my fave!

We went back to Mema's to open a few presents.

The only thing missing from this night was our sweet, 96 year old Mema. Mema fell a few weeks ago and broke her lower leg. She is now in a rehab hospital and doing great. We missed celebrating Christmas Eve with her, but this is a pic from the Christmas day when we went to visit her. Boone loves to give kisses and did this over and over. Mema ate it up!

We headed back to Honey and Papa's late Christmas Eve night. We got our cookies and milk ready for Santa.
 Don't forget the reindeer food!
We hit the hay so Santa would come!
