Lake Trip 2013...

We took our annual lake trip with Honey, Papa and the 5 1/2 Junods to Cedar Creek Lake.  Baby Junod #4 is coming in a few weeks! Our trip was abbreviated because of crazy summer schedules, work schedules and a baby coming. It was still wonderful to be at the lake with my family!!

matchy cuzzies.

These two sweet dogs were at the dock of a restaurant and reminded us of the many labs in our family.

 Feeding the catfish.
We all look pretty awesome in this pic ;). The beauty of the lake is driving to eat in the boat and wearing your swimsuit and cover-up.

 Always the entertainer.

Anna Lou wanted to give skiing a try. Papa got in the water to help her hold the skis still, while Daddy  drove the boat. We all, including Anna Lou, could not believe she got up the very first time. She was excited, surprised, scared and so proud

 B enjoying the dog kennel...

Wish there was audio to go with this pic. So much squealing from the little man.

The kids found a bag of easter eggs and had a hunt (in June).

First Timers at the Dentist!

So if you are a very neglectful mom, you wait way too long to take your children to the dentist. We finally did and it went great. We love our new dentist and her staff, and will be back in 6 months. I promise!

AL started with the X-Rays, which were no biggie!

Pics through the glass while brother and I watched from the other room.
She was up first and was all about it! Super chatty which doesn't always work well when the dentist is working on your mouth. Got to love those awesome pediatric dentists that cater to youngin's with a movie on the ceiling and super sweet ladies to make your feel comfortable.
 A+ for AL
Next up was G and I really didn't think this next picture was going to occur. We had a minor, kind of major meltdown, but then all of sudden was ready to go. Whew! Sweet Dr. Mitchell who is prego, was so patient and so over-the-top sweet with G.
The rest of the day he continued to tell me "I was a little bit scared, then I was ok." Uhh, more than a little bit G! But so glad it all ended great! Sister was there to help the hygienist, of course.
And another A+ for G, too!

No cavities and a great report for these two. They loved their glove balloons and Dora that was on the corner. :)

BSF

This was my first year in BSF, Bible Study Fellowship. A mom of one of Dave's players invited me at the beginning of the school year. I am so glad she did! There are so many wonderful bible studies, but I really loved and learned so much at BSF. It is truly about studying the scripture and nothing else.

We studied Genesis and it was incredible. Awesome timing to study Abraham, Joseph and so many other people of the bible that were tested, taught and blessed by God. They were in difficult, uncomfortable situations, yet the trusted and obeyed and God's plan was greater than they ever could have imagined. Sounds familiar. Praying I can have faith like Abe and Joe!

And to top it off, when I got the call that they had a spot for me and a spot for all of my kids, my group leader was an incredible woman I already knew!! Helen! I've known her for most of my life and she is a dear friend of my moms. Just by luck I got to be in her group. I was so blessed by her and the other wonderful women in my group. Here is a blurry pic of most of our group.

I hope to start back up in Midland when we move, but it will be hard to fill the shoes of this wonderful group, leader and our lead teacher.
