Anna Lou's Christmas Program...

Anna Lou had her program at school this week. It was full of the sweetest little nativity, songs with motions, a few crying three year olds and an auditorium of parents and grandparents oohing and ahhing!

Some of the older kids got to be in the nativity and lucky Anna Lou was Mary. She loved it! Her buddy, Jack Olson was Joseph. Mrs. Carol, a dear friend and preschool teacher sent me some of these pics.

Nothing much cuter than this!

She spotted her fan club and was giving us a grin.

 Little drummer boy.
A costume change and she was ready for songs!

After quite the show, everyone went to the classrooms for a treat and to see their Christmas crafts.

Love our Honey Bears! So sad this is Anna Lou's last Christmas program at pre-school! :(

Saturday

We had a laid back Saturday at home. This morning I ran a few errands and the kids had fun with Daddy playing with the rocket launcher.

Tonight, Daddy was gone with my dad and his dad to watch a playoff game, so the kids and I picked up some chickalay (i think they will call it that forever) and decorated a gingerbread house that Daddy had picked up for us.
 Ain't she purdy!!

I didn't know gingerbread houses came with runts, sweet tarts and nerds! What happened to the m&m's and peppermints? AL & G loved and ate half of the decorations!

We had little trouble getting the walls and roof to stick and then Anna Lou suggested that we needed hot glue! Good idea! Looks great on our football field platter. ha!
Boone was here too, just hanging out, napping and eating mum-mums for the first time.

Great day!

Meeting Santa...

We took the kids to meet Santa at the Village at Fairview. They have a great system that allows you to send a text to get your place in line. I was surprised that there really was an hour wait on a Wednesday afternoon. Glad we weren't standing in line for that hour. The only bummer is you can't take any pics with your own camera. Even if you buy a picture, there is a huge sign that says, No Personal Cameras. I would love to know of a Santa in the area that allows it! If anyone has a suggestion, please let me know!

Anna Lou has always been a fan, but is always a little shy. Graham has cried his eyes out the past two years, and this was Boone's first encounter with the Big Guy. Everyone did great and there were no tears! The big kids even told him what they wanted, which were two items  that have never been mentioned before.  Santa has some work to do, great;)! Anyone know of a bow and arrow for a 3 year old?! I wanted to take my own pics because Boone was smiling, staring and grabbing his beard! Graham never smiled, but much better than the hysterical tears we have had in the past! This is an iPhone pic of the actual pic.

Once again, G not into taking pics.

But I'm thinking his sister doesn't mind.

We celebrated our Santa victory at Uncle Julio's. Finally a smile from G, oh lordy. :)
Last year we ate here after visiting the same Santa with all of the Junods. Just not the same without them!

Boone's Big Day...

"This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it!" Psalm 118:24

Today, we dedicated our precious Boone Watkins Hall to the Lord. What a sweet morning for our family.

Before we left for church, I was waiting till the last minute to put on B's all white outfit.

The lighting in the sanctuary wasn't great and some iPhone pics will have to do.

My sweet friend, Kelli, took these from the balcony.

Honey & Papa and Mimi & PawPaw were there to watch and celebrate!

What a gift this child is! We pray he will grow to love the Lord and have a heart for his Savior!

We pray that we, as parents guide and teach him to want to be more like Jesus everyday.

We are so thankful to the Lord for the treasure of this sweet child. Can't wait to see what the Lord is going to do with this precious life.

Boone and Grant...

My friend Ann and two of her three kids came over this week to play. Ann was one of my sister's best friends at BU and she also lived with my parents one summer when she had an internship in Dallas. They are living here temporarily for her husbands job. Her youngest, Grant, is just five weeks older than Boone. Graham and Anna Lou had a great time with Mabry while Boone and Grant hit if off, too:).

I don't have any pics of the big kids, but here are the babies. Grant is such a little doll!
