American Girl and a Marathon...

Saturday, it was time to celebrate the six year old at The American Girl Doll Store. We had a small family party with just the ladies and it was great! She opened a few gifts before we left.
Her cuzzies gave her money to spend at the store. It was wrapped up so cute in a tissue box!

Honey, Aunt Sissy, Georgia, the birthday girl and her mama were off to party! We wanted the Hall cousins and Mimi to join us, but they had other commitments that weekend. We missed them!

The girls (and their moms) were in awe!

  It's a wonderland!
Honey and Papa's gift was her very first American Girl doll. She chose the a look-a-like doll with long brown hair and brown eyes, and named her Jenna:).

We went upstair to the Bistro for lunch. It was pretty stinkin' cute.

She got to pick her own appetizer and entree.
They provide the birthday cake and it was so cute and delicious!

She chose some pj's for her doll from her cousins and we got her matching ones.
 Such a fun day!!
Saturday night, we also celebrated Barrett's upcoming birthday.

Honey got these adorable donuts for all the chickens.

Sunday morning we all headed to Fort Worth to watch Papa and Uncle Nick run in the Cowtown Marathon.
Boone wanted to aid the runners.
Here they come!

We made a couple of stops to see them along the way.

 Yay Papa!!

 There they go!
 At the finish!!
What an accomplishment! This was Nick's first marathon and he did awesome!
It took the whole fam to reach this goal!
 Here comes Papa!!
Papa had horrible leg cramps the last 6 miles, but he finished! Talk about pushing through some PAIN!
He had some cheerleaders at the finish!
 What an amazing morning!
Way to go Papa (And Honey)! It takes a lot from the spouse, too!!
Papa and Uncle Nick were recovering and these kiddos played a little duck-duck-goose.

We headed back west after lunch. We were all pooped.

It was such an awesome weekend! Tons to celebrate and forever memories were made!
