Advancements in the Hall House...

We have had a few recent milestones/advancements in our house lately. Maybe not so interesting to others, but big deals to us:)!

Anna completed her first year of MDO. She had the sweetest two teachers Mrs. Diane and Mrs. Karen. She absolutely loved going to MDO and we are all sad it is over. Til next year...thank you Parkway Hills for a fabulous year!!Graham is on the solid food bandwagon! He is all boy in the eating department. And so glad he has his big sis to help him!
This really isn't an advancement but ever since the weather has been good, we have made this pretty much a regular routine of taking a morning walk. Most of the time we go with our friends Sarah and Harper, so I need to get a pic of them too! So thankful for great friends to spend time with walking around the neighborhood.

We sleep in style! Yes this is how I found AL one morning last week. She begged to wear the shoes to bed and I didn't realize she had the sun glasses too. Pick your battles, eh? I am aware that she probably didn't sleep in them, but the next morning when she called my name, this is what I found.

We are officially in the big girl swing and we do A LOT of swingin'!

Graham's Dedication...

Sunday was baby dedication at our church so we dedicated our Graham Haggard. I am glad that our church calls it Parent/Child dedication since it really is about the parents making a commitment to guide their child in the ways of the Lord. Dear Lord,

We bring you this child. Please show us how to parent this precious gift that you have given us. Help us to be the best parents that we can be. We pray that your holy spirit will teach us, your wisdom will guide us, and your love will move us. Most of all, we give this child to you. Please make Graham a servant after your own heart. In Jesus name, Amen.

Rhett and a Waco Wedding...

Dave and I made a quick trip to Waco on Saturday for my friend Rebecca's wedding. First stop was to see Amanda, Doug and Baby Rhett who were in town at Amanda's parents house. I had not been able to meet this little guy in person yet. He is adorable and looks identical to his mama! After a costume change at their house we headed to Rebecca and Michael's wedding. Wendi and I were good friends with the Brophy girls at BU and our parents all knew eachother at BU too. After the a beautiful ceremony that was simple, elegant and personable, we headed to the Brophy residence for the reception. The pictures do not quite capture this incredible setting.

Go Lions!!

Most of our friends and family have known about this for a while and I posted on facebook already, but I have to blog about it and remember this special week. Dave started his new job full time at Mckinney High School as the defensive coordinator! I am so proud of him! For the past three years we have been at Lake Highlands H.S. with some amazing coaches, kids, staff and a wonderful community. A few months ago a fellow coach at LH and good friend got the head coaching position at McKinney and asked Dave and another coach from LH to come with him. We have loved LH and it has been a great place to be, but we felt this move was exactly what the Lord wanted us to do. God is so faithful and brought us to live in McKinney three years ago when I was still working in Denton and Dave at LH. It was right in between both jobs, but who knew that Dave would end up working in this city! The Lord knew!! The most exciting part for me is that now Dave will only drive 8 minutes to work! He has been commuting about 45 minutes which make the long hours of coaching even longer! We are so excited for this opportunity to live in the community that Dave will work and hopefully be here for a very long time! Spring football is in full swing so Dave is already hard at work getting the McKinney Lions ready for the fall! This was the first night this week I knew Dave would be home in time for dinner so he got to eat on the The Red Plate! The Red Plate was a tradition in my family where you got to eat on it if it was your birthday or some big accomplishment was made. So for Cinco de Mayo we had Mexican food and Dave got his on The Red Plate! We have been eating outside more and more with this beautiful weather and less mess to clean up afterwards!

Fiesta and a playdate...

Yesterday at Anna Lou's MDO they had a Mommy and Me Fiesta! At the end of the day they had a little party for all of the tots and their mamas! It was super cute with games, snacks and festivities for all! Graham got his normal ride in the Moby Wrap while AL and I tried out everything. First, of course, is snacks.

After the par-tay, we headed to visit our friends Stephanie and Owen.

Owen's daddy has started spring football too so we are all in the same boat!! Owen and Graham were cooperating, but the little missy was not so much.

We had so much fun at our playdate with them. And my sweet friend Stephanie played ball with AL the entire time! She is an ex-softball coach so she didn't mind too much.

A few random pics from around our house lately...

First bath together for these two and so far, so good! Anna Lou REALLY wants to help us bathe little bro and that keeps little bro a little nervous, but it does save time and water! I have to remember moments like these, so why not blog about it?! Here is AL in her t-shirt, diaper and white patent "church" shoes. She is VERY into her babies these days. She tells me they are all sleepy and taking their naps. Each one gets a blanket and they always seem to want to nap down our hallway. Sometimes we have up to 8 or 9 babies all napping:).My sweet sister-in-law, Mary, gave AL this outfit for her first birthday and she is finally big enough to wear it! She really is growing so much lately and is not so skin and bones anymore!

Some random pics of our crazy little nugget on the bed. He is quite the roller these days and ended up almost in the fireplace the other day so the bed is no longer a safe play place for him, unless mom is there to drop the camera and catch him!

And finally...we celebrated Honey's birthday this weekend since she is now home from Doha where she was helping take care of our new baby niece, Georgia. We missed our Honey!!
