This post is kind of random, but wanted to share some fun things that have been going on this summer. Nothing about S'mores, but we might have to do that before summer is over:). First of all, this is a pic of my bible study group and our leader, Amy. I am beyond blessed to be apart of a wonderful ministry at our church called Mentoring Moms. Each small group of about 10 has a leader (Mentoring Mom) that is "a little further down the road" than we are in the game of parenting, marriage and pretty much just being a Christian woman in today's world. We cover all kinds of topics but mostly having to do with marriage, parenting, serving, etc...Two years ago when I had Anna, I joined and it has been a wonderful blessing ever since. Some of us have been together for the past two years and a few have joined along the way. Our leader, Amy, is moving to Oklahoma! She has taught us all so much! She is so kind, encouraging, welcoming, real and honest. We will miss her more than she will ever know. We got together for dinner one more time before she moves to say goodbye. I am so thankful for her and her service to this ministry.

Lindsay, Leslie, Amy, Kristin, me and Ashley Last weekend we went to celebrate with the Pels family for Owen's first birthday. They had such a cute sports theme where you wore your favorite team jersey or t shirt.

Mimi came in town this week to see us before she leaves on a long trip and also before our lives get crazy with football. She was so kind to keep the kids Friday night so Dave and I could have a little date. Thank you Mimi!! We love you!!
This was a few weeks ago, but wanted to post pics of a little lunch date with Amanda and Wendi and all of the kids. It was Amanda's birthday!! Amanda and I were friends at BU and roommates after BU and...Wow...has life changed. 4 babies later I am so glad we still live close by and talk on the phone everyday:).
